Job Summary
MDS Tutoring is seeking a dedicated and patient Tutor to provide personalised educational support to KS4 GCSE students. The successful candidate will facilitate understanding of subject matter, foster confidence, and promote academic growth through engaging and tailored instruction. Key Duties
Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in designated subjects, adapting methods to suit individual learning styles.
Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement to develop customised lesson plans.
Support students with special educational needs, ensuring inclusive and accessible learning experiences.
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
Maintain organised records of sessions, progress reports, and lesson plans.
Encourage motivation and confidence in learners by creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational professionals to support student development.
Qualifications
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young learners.
Knowledge of special education practices is desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
Organised, reliable, and adaptable to meet diverse student needs.
Passionate about education and committed to fostering a supportive learning environment.
