Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition to relevant professionals.

  • Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

  • Assist with light domestic tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning as required.

  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary, ensuring safe transportation.

Skills

  • Good communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

  • Basic IT skills for maintaining documentation and updating care records.

  • Ability to follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs.

  • Driving skills are essential for transporting clients safely to appointments or activities.

  • Experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where needed.

  • Fluency in English is required for clear communication with clients and team members.
