Job Summary
Affordable Quality Windows Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join the finance team on a part time Self employed basis The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting and experience with various accounting software packages. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, integrity, and a proactive approach to managing financial data.
This position is a self employed position abnd can be done remotely from home . our current book keeper will provide a full hand over and will be on hand to help the transition be smooth and easy for all.
Duties
Record and reconcile daily financial transactions using recognised accounting software such as Sage.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
Maintain organised financial records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Monitor bank accounts and reconcile statements regularly to ensure accuracy
Skills
Proven experience with accounting software Like Sage, or Quickbooks
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Proficiency in managing accounts payable and receivable processes
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively whilst maintaining accuracy
