Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support clients with meal preparation and dietary requirements according to care plans
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing
Help with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed routines
Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and documentation tools
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Support clients with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation
Experience
Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow prescribed routines accurately
Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members
Basic IT skills for maintaining records and updating care documentation
Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving client transportation but not mandatory for NIGHT TIME positions
A caring attitude, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills are vital for success in this role
