Main Duties of the Job
During this internship, you will gain hands on experience working with datasets, reports, and dashboards that inform how Modality Partnership operate and deliver care. You and the Data Administrators will work closely with the Data Analytics Management and Clinical Leads to support the Digital, Operational, Management & Efficiency (DOME) agenda helping drive improvement, efficiency, and innovation through data.
The postholder will work in collaboration with local divisions (including Divisional Boards) and the National Modality Business Support Team to deliver innovative ways of working to meet the strategic aims of the organisation.
The role is not a regular 9am-5pm job and is not a pure administration role; the job requires innovation, flexibility, and commitment and the postholder will be required to work resourcefully as part of the team to ensure tasks are completed.

Person Specification
Knowledge (Essential)
Understanding of data analytics processes and reporting workflows
Knowledge of NHS datasets, primary care indicators, or health service performance frameworks is advantageous
Experience working in a data, reporting, or analytics support role (healthcare or public sector desirable)
Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Excel, or SQL-based reporting platforms
Proven ability to handle, clean, and manage large datasets with attention to accuracy and consistency
Skills (Essential)
Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and quality assurance
Good analytical thinking and basic data visualisation skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Confident working with spreadsheets, databases, and data platforms in a dynamic environment
Qualifications (Essential)
Educated to A-level standard or equivalent, additional data or IT qualifications desirable
Personal Qualities (Essential)
Able to work well under pressure and deliver to tight timescales
Well organised
Proficient verbal and written communication skills to individuals at all levels
