Main Duties of the Job

  • Undertake administrative and reception duties

  • Handle telephone enquiries from patients regarding their appointments

  • Input data

  • Book and rearrange appointments via phone or letter

  • General office duties

  • Input data into the patient administration system (SystmOne)

  • Work as part of a team and use initiative in daily tasks

Person Specification

Qualifications & Knowledge (Essential)

  • 2 GCSEs (including English and Maths)

  • Standard Keyboard skills (RSA 2, ECDL, or demonstrable experience)

  • Knowledge of office procedures, clerical/reception work

Experience

Essential:

  • Microsoft Office products

  • Organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Inputting data and maintaining records

Desirable:

  • Trust IT systems (e.g., SystmOne)

  • Experience working in an office environment
